About Us
Karoo 62 Escape is a scenic rustic retreat and private nature reserve located on Route 62 near Ladismith in the Western Cape’s Klein Karoo. It offers diverse accommodation options ranging from luxury bush lodges and self-catering chalets to a bush motel, A-frame cabins, gypsy caravans, and campsites. We look forward to welcoming you!
OCTOBER 2026
7Weekspoort MTB and Trail Run Challenge, sponsored by Ladismith Cheese and hosted by Chain Gang Events, takes place in the beautiful town of Ladismith, Western Cape.
The event is a community project where locals are eager and ready to welcome cyclist and runners from all over the province.
MTB distances 30km, 43km and 85km and the Trail Run distances 10km and 18km.
